Welcome Back Longhorns!
What a start to the new year it has been. The library opened last week after several weeks of textbook business was finally complete.
If you haven't had a chance to stop by yet, make sure you do so soon. We have lots of new and exciting additions to your library. Thanks to the generosity of the 21st Century grant that hosts the after school hours in the library, we have some beautiful new furniture. We also have two cafe style game tables for those serious games of chess some of you love to get into.
Our technology has been upgraded. We now have 16 brand new Windows 7 computers and 16 wireless netbooks. All of the equipment is networked and print capable in both black and white and color. The library is fully wireless now, so you can also utilize your personal devices while here.
I have prepared a short Animoto video that reviews library policy and procedure and introduces visitors to everything your library has to offer. I have linked it to this blog below.
